A beautiful Italian dinning table attributed to Paolo Buffa with a marquetry top of serpentine abstract form, circa 1940.
Raised on two large geometric tapering legs connected by decorative carved gilt spacers. The underside and the top of the table are curved which allows a heavy glass top to slide in.
Possibly a unique commission created to order, a superb piece of Italian design and craftsmanship from the Cantu district.
