MODERN FURNITURE & DESIGN – BOWMANS

US$35.00
sold out

Published by Bowman Brothers & The Curwen Press, 1930

This Bowmans catalogue is a beautiful document of early ‘30s furniture, with Mondrian-esque rugs, interchangeable units, walnut veneers and a ‘Finnish’ inspired range. This book is truly a sign of things to come. It is worth noting the descriptions are perhaps of their time; “Rhapsody in Black”… “Bachelor girls –note! What girl doesn’t enjoy rearranging her room now and then?”

Condition: Fair, damage to the cover on the spine making it loose and some chipping to corners of cover and pages. Otherwise in good condition
