A fine 1940s Italian cabinet by Paolo Buffa.
Resting on slender tapered legs with deep brass sabot feet, this piece has four-panelled doors finished in horizontal book-matched veneer. Each panel is surrounded by the subtlest band of fruitwood inlay and a ten-point brass star. The top is polished green marble with a chamfered edge.
